Residency Goals


1)	Make musical concepts and rhythm accessible to children:how the sound is produced and how to organize it.
2)	Provide space for musical expression for all members of the class and equal appreciation of all class creations.
3)	Re-enforce the intrinsic relationship between music and daily life.
4)	Convey the connections between music, math (counting),and spoken language.
5)	Increase awareness of world cultures and their geographies.
6)	Instill an awareness of the interpersonal values needed in amusical ensemble.
